The Goal:
How can we take the original album cover and expand it beyond its canvas, repurposing it for multiple forms of content? By reimagining the still image in motion and exploring how it can translate into a Spotify Canvas.
The Approach:
Using the puppet tool, camera movement, cloud overlays, and a bubble effect to animate the text, the piece turns a static image into something more immersive and dimensional. Created to promote a new album across Instagram, formatted for Stories and TikTok, designed specifically for mobile viewing and short-form engagement.

Lyric Video Teaser |
"John Hughes Movie" by Maisie Peters
The Creative Direction
Inspired by the music video for John Hughes Movie by Maisie Peters, this project reimagines a lyric video as a continuation of the original story. Framed as a sequel, it follows the aftermath of Maisie’s psycho killer character, burning evidence, tracing connections, and moving across a detailed stalker board to piece together what happens next, with subtle nods to early 2000s end credit scenes.
The Approach:
Designed as a teaser for a single release rollout, the concept builds on the existing visual world while adding a darker, more narrative layer, turning a standard lyric video into something that feels like an extension of the music video, inviting fans to play detective and uncover easter eggs.
